This rec dates back to my sophomore year of hs exchange trip when I was rec’d this mustard from my exchange partner’s mom as we were passing through Meaux. I didn’t like mustard at the time, but when I got home and tried it, everything changed. It’s grainy in a great way, and tastes so fresh and flavorful with a little spicy kick (in the way that mustard can be.) The recipe hasn’t changed since 1632!
I haven’t thought about this mustard since the croque was finished in hs, but I just saw they sell it at Foster and Sundry and was elated. Bonus, you can use the stoneware croque once you’re finished!
